Why would I benefit from a Reiki healing?

How do I prepare for my in-person session?
Once you have emailed me to make your appointment, you will receive a confirmation text from me with your appointment information including date and time, as well as venue information. I recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing so that you will be warm/cool enough whilst laying down.
Please arrive approximately five minutes before your healing time allowing new clients to complete any documentation and allowing us to begin on time. We will briefly run through your intention for the session and discuss what you hope to receive from the session. We will then begin the healing. At the end of the session, I will run through with you any information I found intuitively regarding your chakra system and make suggestions on the easiest and best way for you to make improvements. You will then be able to make another appointment.
How do I prepare for my absentee healing session?
Once you have booked with me via email, I will send through a confirmation email with the date and time of your absentee healing. If you wish to set an intention for your healing session, please let me know at this time.
I begin the grounding and meditation practice prior to your healing, so you will be unable to contact me during the 15 minutes prior to your session start time. However, know that at the time of your session, I will have created a sacred space for your healing and created an energetic connection with you which will continue until your healing is completed.
At the time of your session, you may choose to continue with your day, however in order to experience the healing in its true form, I recommend that you spend the time in a quiet, comfortable space with no distractions. I also recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing. You may wish to create a healing space of your own, perhaps using an essential oil diffuser, and calming relaxation music. Don’t worry if you go to sleep during your time – the healing will still work!
Just remember to hold the intention of being open to the healing.
What happens during the absentee healing?
At the time of your session, know that I am channelling the Reiki healing to you allowing your body to release any blockages, deeply held issues and any stresses you may be carrying. The session is unique to you and no two sessions are ever the same, as the energy you need and the healing technique I intuit is always working in your best and highest good.
As well as the traditional Usui Ryoho Reiki healing, I will also incorporate aspects of Shamanic Reiki, Crystal Reiki, and Chakra Energy Balancing. My aim for each session is to bring the best healing energies to you allowing your emotional, spiritual, energetic, physical and mental healing.
When should my next appointment be?
I always recommend to clients that they leave a minimum of three weeks between reiki sessions. However, I feel it is important for each person to listen to their intuition as to when they feel ready for their next healing.
To maintain a sense of balance and wellbeing, allowing the energy in your body to flow freely, I recommend healing sessions monthly – whether in person or via distance/absentee healing.
