reiki energy healing
Energy healing is a form of medicine with ancient roots that has gone mainstream. It has been practiced in one form or another for thousands of years across every culture and tradition, with evidence showing its use in ancient Egypt (circa 1 500 BCE) and through the history of Traditional Chinese Medicine, also dating back many thousands of years.
The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) in the US, which is the lead agency for research on non-conventional medicine, states ‘energy medicine is the act of channeling and manipulating the energy that courses through your body in order to heal it.’
Reiki healing is a powerful energy healing technique from Japan, which translates as Rei - Universal, Ki - Life Force Energy. Each culture has recognised that by connecting to this universal energy, the body is able to naturally heal itself, affecting not only the physical health of someone but also their emotional wellbeing and mental clarity, but also help to reduce stress levels.

In-person reiki healing
Traditional reiki healing is a general healing practice, promoting relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, as well as improving mood and sleep. This energy is transferred through my palms encouraging emotional, spiritual, mental or physical healing. Reiki is non-denominational, completely safe, and perfect for anyone feeling out of balance, fatigued or ungrounded. It promotes a positive mental state, reduces pain, and supports recovery from injuries and surgery.
Whilst working with Universal Life Force Energy, I am able to intuit or 'feel' the energy around the body and the chakras. When I channel this energy, I am witness to the vibrations shifting in a person’s energy system, the energy helping to soothe, heal and balance the body’s chakra system, shifting heavy and stuck energies and reconnecting the life force within the body. During this session, you may experience warmth, tingling in the hands or feet, or other subtle signs of healing. As the practitioner, I will enter into a semi-meditative state whilst the energy is being channeled.
There are no "required" number of Reiki sessions, the number of sessions is individual and depends on what you, the client, wish to accomplish.

absentee reiki healing
With Reiki absentee healing, I transfer universal life force energy through time and space to you, and even past or future events. Absentee Reiki is as effective as ‘in person’ Reiki. I create a sacred centred space and send the reiki energy together with unconditional love to you, the client. The number of sessions will vary according to what you want to accomplish.
This is the preferred method of healing for anyone who is unable to leave their home due to illness, age or are recovering from surgery. It is also popular with anyone who has a busy schedule and wants to minimise the time to travel to have a session, is a carer or a mum with young children, or it may be that there are no Reiki practitioners in your area.
Sessions are held completely via distance allowing you to find space to relax and soak up the energy in the comfort of your own home.
